Suicide Intervention Training

Suicide intervention training equips individuals with life-saving skills to recognize warning signs, engage in compassionate conversations, and connect at-risk individuals with critical resources. Evidence-based programs like ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) and safeTALK transform bystanders into confident responders who can intervene effectively during a mental health crisis. These trainings teach structured approaches that break the silence around suicide, reduce stigma, and create community safety nets. Most individuals considering suicide show warning signs, and trained individuals can identify these signs and take action before a crisis escalates, potentially saving a life.
